don't lie to me!

Lets just start this post off with the truth. I am addicted.

I am addicted to sweet tea. More specifically McDonald's sweet tea. Unfortunately in my new little small town there is NO MCDONALDS! Ok so it really isn't that good for me anyway so I have basically kicked the habit since moving here.

There is however one on the way to my old town. Of which I need to go every two weeks to my OB appointments. So every morning I go to the OB which is two hours away I also stop at McDonald's to get a sweet tea.

Last Friday when we left for my Dr appointment I pulled into the McDonald's. This time I was also going to get Kya and myself a breakfast to split because I was running LATE and didn't grab a granola bar for her. ( I will admit I was slightly happy about the McDonald's breakfast because I LOVE me some Sausage Egg McMuffin with cheese!!! SUE ME) ok ok ok....back to the story

The line is really long and I really only have about 15 minutes to spare in the line and still make it to the dr on time.

I order

1 sausage egg mcmuffin meal with SWEET TEA please
and
1 sausage egg mcmuffin

So I ordered two things....

1 sausage egg mcmuffin meal with SWEET TEA please
and
1 sausage egg mcmuffin

Can't be that hard right!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am handed my drink and a little bag and pull forward. As soon as I pull forward I see they gave me the wrong sandwich. I didn't want a sausage mcmuffin, I wanted an egg in there too!

Now the line is super duper long.. I have 15 minutes...

I pull around and line myself up with the drive through window, wait for the customer to leave and motion to the Boy and girl in the window.

Me: You gave me the wrong sandwich I wanted a sausage egg mcmuffin
Girl: sorry ok
Boy: get back in line
Me: I don't have time to get back in line bring it out to me ( I mean don't they do that all the time? when your fries aren't ready they tell you to freaking pull forward! RIGHT PEOPLE!!!)

So I pull forward and wait... and wait.... and wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

I pick up my drink to calm myself down and BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY GAVE ME A FREAKING REGULAR TEA!!!!!!!!!!!!! No sweet tea, no sweetness to calm me down... I am now an 8 month pregnant woman that is hungry, thirsty, and PISSED OFF because I am now also LATE!

I grab my drink, grab my kid, and storm into the McDonald's. SLAM my drink on the counter and YELL!

Me: What in the world is taking you soo long??? Not only did you not give me the wrong sandwich but you gave me the wrong DRINK! I only ordered two things and you got them all wrong! I told you to bring out my sandwich it has been over 5 minutes! I HAVE A DR APPT I HAVE TO GO!!!!!!!!!! ( ok, ok, ok, I totally caused a scene, but in my defense it was already 101 degrees outside, I hadn't had breakfast yet and I am pregnant.. did I not tell you that??? oh yeah ... totally hormonal!)
Manager: We didn't know what you wanted?
Me (looking at BOY and Girl): Yes you did I told you specifically! (plus don't they have my receipt? Why wouldn't you come out and ask then??? You seriously can't be afraid of a mom in a minivan with a toddler in the back?)
Boy: We didn't know what you wanted.
Me (complete with a finger wave at him): DO NOT LIE TO ME YOUNG MAN YOU KNEW EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED!!!!
Manager: I am sorry let me get you your stuff and what is your name? Next time you come through your meal will be free.
Me: sweet tea and a Sausage EGG MCMUFFIN (how many times can you possibly type sausage egg mcmuffin in one post?)thank you...

Can you believe I did the whole finger wave and do not lie to me young man???? Yes I am officially an old ass mom!
